Just for fun, I thought I’d upload a few photos of my outfits to fashism to see what people think. I don’t feel like I’m a fashionista, and I don’t really care what peopel think of my outfits, so I figured, what’s the harm? The responses have been pretty hilarious. Check out some of the comments. My question — why do some people feel the need to comment on others outfits?!
How many times does this happen to you? You try on an outfit before heading out to work, take a quick glance in the mirror and get ready for your commute. You arrive in the office, hit the bathroom, see yourself in the mirror and realize your look is completely wrong! Or, you buy a new dress at the store before an event. When pictures come back from the big night, you take one look at your dress and say “What was I thinking?!”
I hate the feeling of suddenly realizing that a haircut/outfit/pair of shoes/new necklace is completely wrong. So what’s a girl (or guy) to do? Well, worry no more — if you don’t live with roommates who are always around to critique your outfit, check out Fashism. This online community will judge your look for you! Simply join the site, upload your pic, and await the feedback. Worried about the harsh online critics? Don’t be - wouldn’t you rather hear it from anonymous online people, rather than your friends/family/date/coworkers?
The Social Media Club of Cleveland Akron Canton Cleveland will be meeting tonight at the Canton Akron Airport. They have been nice enough to offer to host us, as well as provide some speakers, cupcakes and refreshments. More details at the link.
